Today I was able to pay an old friend a debt I had pending, his name was Diddy Kong.
After almost 14 years of trying, leaving and even trying more, I was able to finish the first videogame I’ve ever owned with 102%.
I received this game in one of the most memorable Christmas I’ve had in my life in 1998. I ragequit it when I couldn’t beat King Zing back in 2001. Then I took the controller once again in 2006 and ragequit during Toxic Tower. Sadly, by 2008 the battery was dead and I lost all my progress. Then I got a Wii and the first thing I did was buying DKC2 in the Virtual Console to save it up for later. Finally, I spent a year in completing this game (with school pauses, of course), spending 10 hours in the game.
This is not a simple achievement, mind you: this is the end of a chapter, at least in my eyes. With this, I’ve finally closed an important part of my childhood and it’s such a rewarding experience. Some of you might say this is entirely pointless, but in the end, only few people can relate to this kind of experience.
With these, I can finally say: Suck it K. Rool, I win.
Request: Draw a new avatar for me (Cpt. Falcon).
Captain Falcon, attorney at law.
Falcon Punching FOR JUSTICE.
Request: I (Herobrine) would like an avatar too.
I don’t really like requests like this one since they tend to be too simple.
Also, I didn’t like how this one turned out… but it’s okay.
